Christine Sedrak is the Founder and Principal Lawyer at Anchorage Legal.
Christine graduated from the University of Otago in New Zealand with a double degree consisting of a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce. After being admitted to practice in Victoria, Christine began practising primarily as a Family Lawyer although she has had other experience in property matters, estate planning and commercial transactions.
Christine’s dedication and passion for Family Law from the start of her career means she can provide clients with specific and experienced advice in all aspects of Family Law including complex property matters, divorce, care arrangements for children, child support, spousal maintenance and domestic violence matters. Christine’s attitude with every family law matter is to empower her clients with knowledge and advice to enable them to choose the best processes and outcomes to resolve the issues they face whilst ensuring costs and delays are minimised.
This enables her clients to continue making informed decisions throughout the process. Christine has represented clients in relation to family violence, property and children matters in the Magistrates Court and in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.
Christine is also a collaborative lawyer, which means she will work together with other lawyers, psychologists, financial advisors and other professionals to achieve the best outcome for you and your family as a whole whilst minimising the stress and anxiety associated with court proceedings.
Christine is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria and is a regular volunteer at the Peninsula Community Legal Centre.
In her spare time, Christine enjoys spending time with her Husband and twin daughters. They enjoy going for walks, reading and travelling.
